I walk on a road lush with dreams,
a road of forgotten and veiled dreams,
sometimes slowly, sometimes gaily,
sometimes lost, sometimes profound,
I walk a road of unknown mysteries,
fervently finding my way through the endless path.....

Musically yours!

'Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent'. -Victor Hugo

Very few things in the world are capable of producing a universal impact on us.
Music has always been accepted as the universal language by the whole world. And indeed it is.
Just like the acts of kindness or compassion, which are universally regarded as the same, be it North or South, East or West. Similarly music is also considered as a language sung all through mankind.
It has been such since time immemorial and would be so till the end of the world.

Time has divided and given it various names but the purpose of music is still the same, which is to create love and harmony amongst all.

To admire the power of music, one need not necessarily be a die hard music lover, I am not one at least.

As it is for poetry, there are people who are not poetry lovers or read or write poetry regularly but none can deny the power of rhymes and the impact it has on the world since time immemorial.
Similarly for music too.
One may not be very passionate for music but somewhere he knows that it does possess the power to captivate hearts and bind souls.

It is however ironical and extremely heart breaking to see people fighting over what kind of music is the best or playing what musical instrument is the most 'in' thing to do.
What fools us mortals be, really!
I mean how can you judge a language so universal in such shallow ways? No matter if it be Jazz or Metal or Folk, the rhythms are all inherently powerful. Your taste might differ but that won't make any of it lesser liked or worst still 'disliked'.

Music does not need judgements, let alone the parameters to be judged.
It just needs an open heart, a soul to understand its depth and learn that even wordless means of communication can be so impacting and so resonating with the human intellect.

As Aldous Huxley puts rightly in his work music at night and other essays "after silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music''.

Indeed, nothing can surpass the loudness, depth and lucidity of silence but after silence no words can give such depth to emotions and thoughts as music can.

So whenever you feel low or alone, with not a soul to talk to or you are sad with a feeling that no one seems to understand you, remember that there exists a form of communication which is common to the entire world and with which you can always connect to each and every soul for it synchronises yours as well as their beats.

Just learn to dive in the depth of rhythm and dance to the uniqueness of your soul. Music will never let you feel down or disheartened or alone, for the tunes shall say what your heart aches to hear.
Hear it closely, once or a million times.
Let it reach your insides and then you will be fit to move on again.
There will be strength and happiness inside.

This world may not know you and you may not identify with them but the strings of music tie us all to a wonderfully vivid and unbreakable bond.

The whole world is musically yours!
